Job Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals (when in person)

- Book meetings, set up conference calls, take messages and minutes during meetings
- Perform administrative tasks, including filing and photocopying
- Type correspondence for CEO and Director of Operations
- Arrange and track Zoom meeting and conference calls for all GPSN Departments
- Order supplies as appropriate
- Order all GPSN swag, marketing materials, awards and trophies as needed
- Coordinate all special events for all department
- Attend trainings as needed
- Schedule team travel and training
- Create and maintain office and filing systems
- Update social media accounts for GPSN
- Develop and maintain various data bases for tracking GPSN special events
- Write and send Thanks You notes for all departments
- Track and ensure the timely delivery of all Credit Card reconciliations to the CFO.
- Manage Constant Contact database and keep it current

The Family Engagement Coordinator ( Change title in all Places) is a family and youth advocate providing information and support to families whose youth have mental illness, emotional disturbance and/or behavioral differences. The FYSC provides information, education and support to assist parents in navigating the systems. The FYSC works with families to help them make informed decisions. The FYSC is sensitive, respectful and responsive to the cultural background and values of each family.
This position requires a family member of a child with emotional disturbance which may include the parent, grandparent, or long-term foster parent or care taker (guardian) and requires a High School Diploma. Preferences will be given for Certified Peer Support Specialist-Parents (CPS-P). This position reports to the CEO.
Employee must have a car and be able to travel the State of Georgia as needed.
Duties include:
- Support the development of a state-wide network of Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health Chapters;
- Maintain a database and update database;
- Provide monthly newsletter articles highlighting FFCMH chapter work;
- Develop and provide trainings to families and children as needed;
- Host a parent support group for the Fulton County FFCMH monthly;
- Serve on various committees at the local, state, and national level representing GPSN as requested by CEO;

Certified Peer Specialist - Youth
Job Title: Peer Center CPS-Y

Payrate: $35,000 a year - Full-time

Report to: Peer Center Supervisor
The Peer Center CPS-Y functions as member of a team charged with working with and for youth who are homeless in Atlanta and the surrounding metro counties. This position reports the Peer Center Supervisor.
This position requires a CPS-Y certification. Preference will be given to qualified Certified Peer Specialist – Youth (CPS-Y) or someone who would qualify and consent to become a Certified CPS-Y if hired.
In keeping with the policies and procedures of the agency, the position provides Peer to Peer support to youth admitted to the Peer to Peer Center. This position provides support to youth who are aged 17– 26 and must be sensitive, respectful and responsive to the cultural background and values of persons served. The Lead Peer Mentor position reports to the Peer Center Supervisor. The Lead Peer Mentor must have a high school diploma or GED and the applicant must purse some form of higher education or vocational training. Preference will be given to applicants who have been served in the system of care, and are Certified Peer Specialists. Job duties include:
- Act as a positive role model for youth in the peer program.
- Provide assistance to youth in the areas of:
• Learning to provide for the youth’s basic needs
• Ensuring each youth has opportunity to pursue educational opportunities
• Securing and maintaining housing
• Securing and maintaining employment
• Learning independent living skills
• Obtaining and maintaining mental health treatment as needed - Assist in Peer group activities as assigned by the Peer Center Supervisor.
- Assist with peer reminders each week about attending group and other activities.
- Assist with reaching out to peers who have not come to GPSN to group for a period of time.
- Assist with planning and reaching out to peers to attend the monthly Youth Move meetings.

Consistent support is a key factor for managing health and wellness. People need accessible, social, and
emotional support to manage and maintain good behaviors for health. Peer support relies on non-hierarchical, reciprocal relationships, which provide a flexible supplement to formal health system services. Through shared
understanding, respect, and mutual empowerment, peer support help people become and stay engaged in the recovery process and reduce the likelihood of relapse. As an active member of GPSN, the Certified Peer
Specialist (CPS-P) will work from the perspective of their lived experience to help build environments conducive to recovery.
In keeping with the policies and procedures of the agency, the position provides Peer to Peer support to parents who have a child/adolescent who comes to the ER at CHOA. This position provides support to parents and
must be sensitive, respectful and responsive to the cultural background and values of persons served. The Certified Peer Specialist-Parent position reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The Certified Peer Specialist-Parent must have a high school diploma or GED and the applicant must want to pursue some form of higher education or vocational training. Preference will be given to applicants whose child has been served in
the System of Care, and are Certified Peer Specialists-Parents. Job duties include:
