Our Passion For Advocacy

We act in support of families and youth and equip others to do the same through various forms of advocacy.

Case Advocacy

When a family member, youth, or professional calls GPSN in need of specific service or support, we assist them in finding what they need.

Cause Advocacy

There are proposed changes to policy and/or legislation that affects children’s mental health or adult mental health (specifically as it relates to transition youth ages 17-26 years old). We listen to our families and youth and rely upon national experts to help guide and then advocate for that position.

Youth MOVE Georgia

Youth MOVE Georgia is a program for people between the ages of 10 and 29. It’s a safe space to share empathy, model and learn self-advocacy, and simply be yourself.

Georgia Parent Support Network, Inc. is the state chapter of the Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health. We support and help the development of local federation chapters statewide. These local chapters are vital to local advocacy movements and the involvement of families and youth throughout Georgia.
